frequently asked questions
I recommend you book your maternity session for 30-36 weeks gestation as you will have a beautiful sized bump (and be less likely to go into spontaneous labour or be feeling too uncomfortable). I also love capturing your other pregnancy milestones like your announcement, half-way celebration or gender reveal.
A session typically lasts about 60 minutes, but if there’s a wardrobe malfunction or a meltdown, we’ll be ok. I am totally flexible and will stay until I know I’ve got a ridiculously good selection of images for you. It's best to make sure you're not in a hurry either so make sure you add some buffer time before and after your session.
Yes! You can choose to have your maternity session solo or share it with your partner, children and/or pets. Whoever you invite to your session celebrating this chapter will always be the focus. You can invite grandparents and other members of your extended family to your session too for a small cost. We'll chat about how this will work when we plan your session.
If you already have a vision for your session I'd love to hear it. Whether you want a specific theme, props, or particular poses, we will work together to create a personalised experience that reflects your unique style and personality. I am always open to trying something different and creative.
No problem! Every home is perfect to me. I can move clutter and I may even move furniture. We will work together to make the best of the space you have. So long as you have a window or a door we can make beautiful photos.
